Guided tours of the Church of the Annunciation Rooftops

The Church of the Annunciation is not only a key landmark in the history of the University of Seville, but also and emblematic site in the city’s cultural life and history since its construction in 1565.
The rooftop walk offers insight into the historical relationship between the Church of the Annunciation and the urban and cultural development of Seville. The tour gives access to the upper level of the temple, offering a close view of the dome and the lantern. With spectacular panoramic views in all directions, visitors can appreciate from the heights the historical development and relevance of Seville, as well as the evolution of the University of Seville, from its beginnings in the Colegio de Santa María de Jesús to the current headquarters of the Faculty of Fine Arts.
Thanks to European funding, the University is undertaking a full restoration of the monument, with details explained during the visit..
